On Sunday, March 2, 2025, the Logan County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to investigate a homicide in the New Blaine/Delaware area. The incident occurred at a residence in the 400 block of River Mountain Road, where William Harris, 84, was found deceased.
The LCSO Dispatch received a 911 call from a family member who had gone to check on Harris. Upon arrival, LCSO deputies found Harris deceased inside his home.
The deceased will be transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to determine the cause and manner of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
