On February 7, 2025, Deputy Jasper Franklin was dispatched to Reveille Valley Road near Magazine for a call of a Wave Rural Connect fiber optic wire that was damaged. The fiber optic lines hang from power poles and provides internet service to rural customers. It appears that the line was shot with a shotgun.
