There was a bad accident last night on Brewer Road just north of the Booneville city limits. It was a single vehicle accident involving a young lady whose vehicle went off the side of the road and rolled over. Our deputy got there first and was soon followed by two Logan County E.M.S. ambulances and volunteer firefighters and they had to extricate her from the vehicle. I got there soon afterwards and saw the great effort by our Logan County E.M.S. personnel working very hard to save her life. The crews from both ambulances loaded her into one ambulance and all of them got into that one ambulance and transported the victim to Mercy Hospital in Booneville. Both crews worked together as one team. At the hospital, the victim was then med-flighted out to another hospital. The Arkansas State Police worked the accident.
