Amber Alert Issued for Logan County Female

10/19/2024

Earlier this evening (October 18th), the Logan County Sheriff's Office received a call about a suspicious silver SUV that was driving near some residences in the city of Ratcliff in northwestern Logan County. While we were in route to the call, we received another call that a juvenile female who lived in one of those residences got into the silver SUV and the SUV drove onto State Highway 22 and headed west towards Franklin County. The juvenile was carrying a light blue backpack and a bag. The Sheriff's Office then received a call that the juvenile was not supposed to be leaving the home with anyone. The juvenile was identified as 14-year-old Trixie Studer, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, short blue hair, green eyes, wears pink glasses, and last seen wearing a brown and white t-shirt and black pants. The vehicle was described as a newer model silver SUV, possibly a Hyundai or a Honda, black rims, no license plate and with a male driver who we now believe is a black male. We believe she met this person online through a gaming app and we believe this was a planned event.

We then immediately notified Franklin County, Sebastian County, and the Arkansas State Police to be on the lookout for the vehicle and the juvenile. Since Amber Alerts are issued by the Arkansas State Police and have specific protocols to be issued, we worked with the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division to get the Amber Alert issued. The Arkansas State Police has several special agents who are assisting the Logan County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division with this case. We also had deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and troopers from the Arkansas State Police assisting us in searching the area for the vehicle which was not found. The F.B.I. has also reached out to assist. We received great help from the family and friends of the missing juvenile and we pray for them in this very stressing time.
