This week, Chief Deputy Joshua Scott and I (Sheriff Massey) taught the Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) class to the faculty and staff at the Subiaco Academy. The class covered active attack events, stress response, and the Run, Hide, and Fight response to an active attack event.

 

We also spoke about the law enforcement response to these events and what to do when law enforcement arrives on scene. Logan County Office of Emergency Management Director Tobi Miller was also present and we spoke with the Subiaco Academy staff on future trainings and drills. We have a great relationship with the people at the Subiaco Academy and Abby and we enjoy working them on these security projects.
